Buy In-Game Gear With Facebook Credits

Stock up with Facebook Credits. Image: Facebook.com.
Facebook’s own in-house currency, Facebook Credits, has really taken off since the leading social network insisted that all game apps on the Facebook platform accept the credit for in-game purchases.

To buy virtual goods and services in Farmville, or your favorite time-wasting Facebook game app, just click the Facebook Credits option in the payment selection screen when you go to buy the items. First, though, check that you’ve got enough credits in your Facebook account and stock up if you need more.

Step-by-Step Guide to Buying and Using Facebook Credits
  1. Go to your Facebook home page.
  2. Click Account and then Account Settings in the main Facebook home page menu along the top of the page.
  3. Choose the Payments icon button in the menu on the left. This opens the Payments Settings page, and you can check your Facebook Credits balance in the Credit Balance section of this page.
  4. If you’re running low on Facebook Credits, click the Buy More button. Choose how many credits you want to buy, and how you want to pay for the Facebook Credits. When you’ve made your selections, click the Continue button.
  5. Enter your payment details – account number, password and email address – into the applicable input field. Click the Confirm and Pay button to purchase your Facebook Credits.
  6. Now you’ve topped up your Facebook Credits account, you might want to spend some of that moolah on some cool in-game gear for your favorite Facebook game apps.
  7. Go to the game app with the items that you want to buy with Facebook Credits. Click the item to open the payment screen. Click the button beside Facebook Credits to select this option, then click the Buy button. The app automatically deducts the transaction amount from your Facebook Credits balance.
