Facebook allows users to import an RSS feed from a blog or any other website to its standard Facebook Notes application.

Once you’ve imported the RSS feed from your blog, the feed appears in the Notes section of your Facebook page.

You can also use the RSS feed on the Notes application on your Facebook fan page or Facebook business page, which is a useful tool if you want to build traffic to an associated website that is relevant to the topic of your Facebook page.

Step-by-Step Guide to Importing an RSS News Feed on Facebook
  1. Type Notes into the Search box at the top of any Facebook page.
  2. Select My Notes from the Facebook search results box.
  3. Click the blue Edit Import Settings link in the menu below your profile picture on the left side of the page.
  4. Type the URL address of the blog or website RSS feed into the Web URL input box. Tick the check box confirming your consent to the terms and conditions. Click the Start Importing button. Wait a few moments for Facebook to locate and import the RSS feed contents.
  5. Click the Confirm button in the preview page that contains a snapshot of your RSS feed.
  6. Once you’ve setup the feed import, Facebook shows previous posts as Notes and automatically adds any new posts.
  7. To import an RSS feed to your Facebook Page go to Pages > Your Page > Edit Page> Apps > Notes > Go To App > Edit Import Settings and follow the same procedure.
